OMG! A new restaurant opened around the corner, but of course nothing is vegan. One of their pizza offerings caught my attention. No worries, I veganized it. Sambuca Cream base, FYH mozzarella, Fieldroast garlic & fennel sausage, and marinated artichoke hearts. Did I say OMG already? **Sambuca Cream recipe included. Use a little for the pizza then use the rest, along with the remaining sausages to drizzle over this recipe instead of the maple-dijon sauce. Use fennel seeds instead of caraway seed too. Yum! https://www.simplyveganized.com/post/simple-sausage-skillet-dinner-with-maple-dijon-cream

INGREDIENTS
1 ball premade pizza dough
1 Fieldroast Garlic & Fennel sausage, sliced into quarter moons
1 cup marinates artichoke hearts, roughly chopped
7 oz shredded vegan mozzarella cheese
(Sambuca Cream)
1 Tbsp vegan butter
2Â garlic cloves, minced
2 oz Sambuca
3/4 cup plant-based cream/whipping cream
1 Tbsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp lemon juice
A handful basil leaves, chopped

DIRECTIONS
1. Prepare Sambuca Cream by melting butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 2-3 minutes without letting it burn. Add Sambuca and cook for 2 minutes. Pour in plant-based cream and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently. Mix 1 tsp cornstarch into 1 Tbsp water to create a slurry. Wisk slurry into the Sambuca Cream and continue to cook, wisking frequently until thickened, approximately 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice and half the basil(keep remaining basil to top cooked pizza with). Pour Sambuca Cream into a separate bowl to cool a little.
2. Preheat oven to 475°F. If using pizza stone, place pizza stone in oven to heat. Roll out pizza dough on floured surface.
3. Place dough on pizza pan(or cornmeal dusted pizza slip). Brush edges with olive oil. Spoon approximately 1/3-1/2 of the Sambuca Cream onto the pizza dough. Use a brush to spread it around.
4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese onto pizza dough. Top with sausage and artichoke hearts. Sprinkle salt onto pizza before cooking.
5. Bake until crust lightly browned and cheese is melted approximately 11-13 minutes.
6. Remove pizza from oven. Top with remaining basil and fresh cracked pepper before slicing.
